I have mostly worked with youth (13-18), so my examples of child participation are pretty narrowed down to that specific age range. One initiative that we employ is youth-led committees, with resolutions on various topics for youth, by youth. The research, the teambuilding exercises, and the discussions are all youth-led. The young people involved have 100% ownership of their resolution, from its formulation, and its solutions to its publishing.

From the discussions I have personally facilitated, it is heartwarming to see motivated young people being inspired, connected to the world around them and most importantly, feeling empowered.
