GNRC Youth Committee

In order to ensure a meaningful participation of children in the development of this guide, and in all projects and activities of Arigatou International, and as a contribution to the 30th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), in March 2019, Arigatou International launched a call for internship to recruit young people (aged 14 to 18) to become interns and therefore members of the GNRC Youth Committee.

28 young people from GNRC local groups around the world applied to the internship and after a careful selection process, four young leaders were selected to integrate the committee.  Since April 2019, the interns are engaged in carrying out local activities as part of a global campaign to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Together with their local GNRC groups, these four global citizens are permanently involved in projects towards promoting the rights of the child, ending violence against children, finding peaceful solutions to conflicts in their communities, and overall building a better world together. Learn more about these young leaders and the activities they are carrying out in their communities.
